Experimental documentary short about hypocrisy within the Catholic Church.
The fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in 2019 serves as a catalyst for the author to reflect on many of the hypocrisies and injustices that have occurred over the last 100 years in Catholic church institutions. Through the performance of a slam poetry text and a mix of hand-drawn animations and live-action footage, a meta-narrative is created that emphasises the need to seek a solution to these issues that goes beyond violence.
